CD Description
This CD is a new addition to the standard clarinet repertoire. The piano accompaniments turn the beautiful Rose 32 Etudes for clarinet into an equally beautiful recital for clarinet and piano. The piano part draws its material from the etudes, and develops a supportive and equal partnership with the clarinet.
John Walker composed the Rose Etudes accompaniments in 2003-04, and recorded them for Carl Fischer in the same year. The new Rose 32 Etudes book, edited by Melvin Warner, is also available in music stores and online stores such as: SheetMusicPlus, Amazon.com, and J. W. Pepper
Clarinetist Christopher Hill went to Japan with Walker to present the etudes and accompaniments at ClarinetFest 2005 in Tama/Tokyo.
